1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using EatLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. About EatLens

EatLens, by AI1952, is an AI-powered calorie and nutrition tracking app. Log meals by photo or voice; AI estimates calories and macros, with tracking, streaks, and weekly insights.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 (or your country’s minimum age of digital consent) to use EatLens.

4. Accounts & Registration

• Create an account with email/password or Google Sign-In
• Keep your credentials secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account
• One subscription is for one account — sharing across accounts is not permitted

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• A free tier (limited AI logs) and an optional Pro subscription (weekly/monthly/yearly)
• Charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
• Renews automatically unless cancelled 24h before the period ends
• Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions
• Prices shown in-app in your local currency

6. AI Features & Estimates

EatLens uses AI (Google Gemini via Firebase AI) to estimate nutrition. Results are estimates, may be inaccurate, and can be adjusted before saving. AI-powered content is labeled in the app.

8. Acceptable Use

Use EatLens only for lawful, personal purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

9. Prohibited Activities

• Reverse-engineer or tamper with the app or its security (including App Check)
• Share/resell a subscription across accounts
• Use automation to abuse AI features or exceed limits
• Attempt unauthorized access or any unlawful use

10. Your Content

• Your food data, photos, and entries remain yours
• You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to run the service for you
• We do not claim ownership and do not sell it

11. Intellectual Property

The app, design, logo, and content (excluding your data) are owned by AI1952 and protected by IP laws.

12. Third-Party Services

Your use is also subject to the terms of Google Firebase, Google Gemini/Firebase AI, Google Play Billing, and the Meta SDK.

13. Advertising & Meta SDK

We use the Meta SDK to run and measure ads. Limited app-event and device signals may be shared with Meta, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your food data, photos, or AI results with advertisers.

14. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of AI estimates. We do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI1952 is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or health outcomes, from your use of or reliance on the app. Total liability is limited to what you paid in the prior 12 months.

16. Termination

You may stop using EatLens and delete your account anytime. We may suspend access for violations. Liability and IP terms survive termination.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. Current version at https://eatlens.app/terms.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to AI1952’s place of business. Contact us first to resolve disputes informally; unresolved disputes go to the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Google Play billing/refund terms apply to purchases.
